Spy Pixels
Being tracked around the web based on emails you've opened is creepy. They're called spy pixels and in this post I talk about what they are and how to protect yourself from being spied on or tracked.
Spy pixels, Facebook pixels, tracking pixels, open tracking, and link tracking are creepy. I don't use them in my newsletter simply because of the golden rule and I don't want to be spied on. Of course I hope you enjoy reading my writing. You read the newsletter and you click the links, but I'm not going to sit over your shoulder watching you. It's uncomfortable, creepy, and wrong. I won't do it.
